Terms of
Service
Effective date: 26 August 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Coachy Ventures Pty Ltd, trading as Gymnastics Online (“GO”, “we”, “us”). By creating a GO account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Platform.
2. Who holds the account
A GO account is held by an adult Parent or guardian (“you”, “Parent”). Where these Terms refer to “you,” they mean the Parent who holds the account, not the Gymnast. A Gymnast (your child, or a young person in your care) uses the Platform under your account, under your supervision, and under the permissions you set. A Gymnast is not a separate contracting party to these Terms and does not accept these Terms in their own right, regardless of age.
If you are not the parent or legal guardian of the Gymnast whose profile you create, you confirm that you hold the legal authority to make these decisions on the Gymnast’s behalf (for example, as a carer or legal guardian).
3. Eligibility
To hold a GO account, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. There is no minimum age for a Gymnast profile itself — a Gymnast’s age determines what parts of the Platform are appropriate for her, and some jurisdictions set additional rules for younger children (see the GO Privacy Policy, §4.15, for the specific age thresholds that apply in each jurisdiction we operate in, including the COPPA hard floor of 13 in the United States).
4. Coaches, verification, and how a Gymnast is connected to a Coach
A Coach is not automatically able to interact with your family. Before a Coach can view a Gymnast’s profile, message you, or receive anything you share, that Coach must individually pass GO’s coach verification gate: a credentials check, a Working with Children Check (or the jurisdictional equivalent), a check that the Coach is appropriate to operate in your region, and either sanction from the Coach’s club or a direct Trust & Safety sanction from GO for an independent coach. You will see a verified-coach badge on any Coach connected to your account.
You connect to a Coach using an invite code or QR code that the Coach provides to you directly. GO does not automatically pair you with a Coach, and a Coach cannot connect to your account without your action.
A Gymnast may be connected to more than one Coach at a time — for example, a head coach and one or more coaches specialising in a particular apparatus. Where this applies, wellness information you choose to share is visible, in full, to every Coach currently connected to that Gymnast; it is not filtered or divided between them, other than training-load detail, which is recorded per apparatus. You control which Coach receives a direct message from you, defaulting to the head coach where one is designated.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and not to: upload or share unlawful, harmful, or offensive content; impersonate another person; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; interfere with the Platform’s operation; or use the Platform to contact another family’s Coach, Parent, or Gymnast outside the features designed for that purpose.
7. The content GO provides
GO’s Library content (workouts, conditioning programmes, and educational material) is strength-and-conditioning content only. The Library does not teach or instruct skills, and nothing in the Library is a substitute for in-person coaching. Every Library item that could touch on technique is reviewed by a credentialled coach before publication. See the GO Participant Safety & Results Disclaimer (incorporated by reference at §12 below) for the safety terms that apply to using this content.
8. Content shared between you and a Coach
Where your subscription tier includes photo and short-video sharing, a Coach may capture a photo or short video within the Platform and share it with you. This feature works as follows, and these controls are a term of the Platform, not just a description of it: capture happens only inside the GO app, not from a Coach’s photo library; no copy is stored on the Coach’s device; the content sits in a temporary server-side location only; it is automatically and permanently deleted no later than 48 hours after capture; and you must separately consent to this feature at signup for the applicable tier, which you may withdraw at any time in your account settings.
Because this content is transient by design, GO’s licence to use it is narrow: solely to the extent necessary to operate the sharing feature between the Coach and you, for the period the content exists on the Platform (a maximum of 48 hours), and for no other purpose. GO does not acquire any broader right to display, distribute, or reuse this content, and does not do so.
9. Wellness check-ins and training logs
Wellness sharing is opt-in at two levels: you enable sharing for a Gymnast’s account, and the Gymnast separately confirms sharing each time she submits a check-in. Neither step alone shares anything. Wellness and training-log data is informational only — it helps a Coach understand how a Gymnast is arriving to training and how her load compares to her own recent history. It is not a diagnosis, a medical assessment, or a substitute for professional medical or physiotherapy advice. See the GO Participant Safety & Results Disclaimer, item 6, on when to seek medical clearance.
10. Subscriptions and payments
Certain features require a paid subscription (GO Families). New subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial; your payment card is captured at signup and first charged when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled beforehand through your account settings. All card processing is handled directly by Stripe — GO does not receive or store your full card number. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law), which this clause does not limit or exclude.
11. GO’s intellectual property
Everything GO provides through the Platform — branding, software, Library content, and other GO-authored material — belongs to GO or its licensors. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes connected with your family’s use of the Platform, and must not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from it without our written consent. This is separate from, and does not affect, the narrower content licence described at §8 for content shared between you and a Coach.
12. Participant safety, injury risk, and the GO Disclaimer
Gymnastics and physical training carry inherent risk of injury. By using the Platform, you and the Gymnast (under your supervision) agree to and are bound by the GO Participant Safety & Results Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at [link]. That document sets out, among other things, that a coach’s guidance should always be sought before starting a workout, that pain is a stop signal, that medical or physiotherapy clearance should be sought where relevant, and that GO does not guarantee any particular outcome.
The single most important line of that document is repeated here because it governs how the whole Platform should be understood: GO provides educational and general training guidance only. It does not replace in-person coaching, medical advice, or direct supervision.
13. Privacy
Our collection, use, and handling of personal information — including how the wellness, messaging, and photo/video features described above actually work from a data-handling perspective — is set out in the GO Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Service availability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice of any material change.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GO and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the equivalent consumer-protection law of your country of residence.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, where Coachy Ventures Pty Ltd is registered. We encourage you to raise any dispute with us directly in the first instance; unresolved disputes may be referred to mediation or another relevant dispute-resolution body before formal proceedings.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Termination
You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, or on reasonable notice for any other reason.
